The benefits of boys eating fish

A study published on Monday in Sweden showed that eating aquatic products such as fish in the daily diet can significantly improve the boy's IQ. "In terms of language skills, children who eat fish once a week at the age of 15 are four percentage points higher than children of the same age in tests three years later, and children who eat fish more than once a week are nine percentage points higher.

The average protein content of freshwater fish is 17.9 to 19.5%, which is twice that of barley, wheat, sorghum and pork, and even exceeds that of eggs and milk. It is second only to beef and is a high-quality protein. This protein not only has high absorption rate but also has high absorption rate. It also helps the body excrete excess salt. Fish is also rich in vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin PP (also known as niacin or nicotinic acid), vitamin D, etc., and a certain amount of calcium, phosphorus, iron and other minerals . Of course, there are also large differences in the nutritional composition of fish due to different species.

A study published on Monday in Sweden showed that eating aquatic products such as fish in the daily diet can significantly improve the boy's IQ.

Kjell Toren, a professor at the University Hospital of Sakolingsjög in Gothenburg, Sweden, led the study. Toren said: "We found a clear link between eating more fish and high IQ." The study was published in the latest pediatric health report. The magazine Acta Paediatrica.

In 2000, the study examined the intellectual, linguistic, and spatial sensations of 3972 Swedish boys of the same age, and when these boys joined the army in 2003, they again investigated these aspects of the Swedish boys. The study showed that boys who averaged one fish per week at the age of 15 scored 7 percentage points higher in the IQ test three years later, while those who ate the fish once a week were 12% higher.

Maria Aaberg, co-author of the report, said in the statement: "There is a clear link between the regular consumption of fish at the age of 15 and the improvement of cognitive ability at the age of 18."

In terms of language skills, children who eat fish once a week at the age of 15 are four percentage points higher than children of the same age in tests three years later, and children who eat fish more than once a week are nine percentage points higher.

In terms of spatial understanding, children who were 15 years old with more fish were 7 and 11 percentage points higher at the age of 18, respectively.
