Stainless Steel Corrosion-Resistant Valve Castings
06Cr13Ni4Mo, as a high-performance martensitic stainless steel (equivalent to S41000/S42000), its outstanding performance stems from the precise alloy ratio. 13% chromium is the core guarantee for corrosion resistance, which can quickly form a dense Cr₂O₃ passivation film on the surface. Even in a humid environment containing chloride ions, it can effectively resist pitting and crevice corrosion. The 4% nickel element optimizes the toughness of the martensitic structure. Combined with the strengthening effect of the 1% molybdenum element, the material maintains high strength (tensile strength can reach over 1000MPa after quenching and tempering) within the applicable temperature range of -40 ℃ to 500℃, while also having good impact resistance, with a low-temperature impact energy absorption of over 30J. Avoid brittle fracture under low-temperature working conditions. This composition combination also endows it with excellent heat treatment performance. Through the quenching + high-te…
