Heat stabilizer DBM-83 Dibenzoyl methane for PVC Stabilizer

Dibenzoyl methane DBM is an aromatic m-diketone, which is a phenyl substituted derivative of hydrogen on the methyl of acetylacetone (acac). It is obtained from benzylidene acetylbenzene by bromination and hydrolysis. It is a colorless square crystal, easily soluble in chlorohydrin and chloroform, soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, insoluble in sodium carbonate solution, and very slightly soluble in water. Dibenzoyl Methane (Dbm) is used as an analytical reagent, for the determination of carbon disulfide and thallium, for the extraction of silver, aluminum, barium, beryllium, calcium, cadmium, etc., as well as as a co stabilizer of calcium/zinc hydroxylate stabilization system, and for the manufacture of PVC mineral water bottles. Health hazard: This product is a low toxic PVC stabilizer and is basically harmless to human body. Flammability hazard: This product is flammable and can cause explosion when the dust in the air exceeds the standard seriously. Skin contact: A…
